Join the fun with the Drum and Blaze crew, and embrace the Bateria experience ! We’ve always been very involved in Brighton Social Life, and you’ve seen us perform in gigs for big events like the Fringe festival, Lewes Bonfire, or the Brighton Pride. If you want to learn and master a new instrument, and be part of this blazing adventure, simply come and give a it try ! All levels welcome !

Every couple of months, we organize Newbie Sessions, where new people are free to join and have an introduction to rhythms and samba all together. It is free to attend, and will give you an overview of how playing drums works. After that, if you want to join the band, just say so and we will take it from there 🙂

You can also follow us on Social media, where we usually announce those newbie sessions in advance, but it’s always best to contact us in advance directly, as spaces might be limited.

 You never played music before? No problem at all! We’ve all started somewhere. We provide all the equipment: drums, straps, sticks and groove. Simply come along and follow the lead, we have workshops for beginners and great players who will be happy to teach you and show you the ways of Samba!

You’ve done samba before? That’s great as well! Just get in touch and we’ll let you know when you can pop in outside of the classic newbie session if you’re ready for the challenge 🙂
